World’s First Three Generations Of A Same Family To Trek Mount Everest Base Camp & Annapurna Base Camp
The two historic world records were achieved by three generations of the same family (residents of Gurugram, Haryana, India), who have successfully trekked to Mount Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp.

The trek was completed by:
Krishan Saroop Sood, DIG (Retd.) BSF, aged 77 years and 2 months
Daughter: Dr. Nitika Puri, aged 50 years
Daughter: Ritika Sood Agarwal, aged 43 years
Granddaughter: Rhea Agarwal, aged 16 years

Annapurna Base Camp Trek: Date of attempt: 01 May 2025
The trek was completed by the same family members at the following ages:

Daughter: Dr. Nitika Puri, aged 50 years and 11 months
Daughter: Ritika Sood Agarwal, aged 43 years and 11 months

This remarkable achievement marks the world’s first instance of three generations from a single family successfully completing treks to both Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp, demonstrating exceptional endurance, unity, and inspiration across generations.
