Malladi Vijayalakshmi was born on 31 December 1951 at Chennai, Tamilnadu to Prof V.V.K Sastry and Rajyalakshmi. She has completed her schooling and higher education in Hyderabad, Telangana. She worked has a teacher in schools like DPS, DAV. She has a experience of 20 years as a teacher.

She is married to Malladi Satyanarayana Murthy, Retired Superintendent Engineer at the State electricity board, she has one son and one daughter.

 

==Biography==

Vijaya Lakshmi is not only a teacher but a social activist also. She worked in several International Organizations and Clubs in different positions. Served as Ward Committee Member at GHMC, Vice President in Walkers International Club, Member in Elders Club Organization. She is currently working at Senior Citizen Forum as Joint Secretary as the Aasara Central Committee. Vijaya Lakshmi is a M.D and President of “Sushrushaaw” care of elders, Brahmana Abhyudaya Samiti, Satya Sahiti Literary Organization, Vice President of Sahiti Kaumudi Literary Organisation and
Secretary in Chaitanya Bharathi Literary Organization.

She received many State and District awards in games and sports.
Received “National Award for Mango Squash” in the year 1995.
