Menda has been working as President, General Secretary, District Secretary and State Councilor of APTF for three decades to resolve teacher welfare issues at mandal district and state levels . He has done his primary schooling class 1 to 5 in P.S.E. School, Buridi Kancharam in the year 1963-1968, class 6 to 10 in Z.P.H.S. in the year 1968-1973.
Intermediate Jr.College, Kogunur (H.E.C.) in the year 1973-1975 and B.A. (E.H.P.) from Government Arts College, Srikakulam in the year 1975-1978.
