Last year, when the lockdown was announced to curb the spread of the novel corona virus, the actor helped migrant workers to reach their hometowns by arranging buses, trains and chartered flights. Inspired by his activities Venkatesh wanted to meet him personally and appreciate him. Venkatesh also addressed Sonu Sood as “God”, as he helped many people.
