Hemkund Sahib (also spelled Hemkunt) is a Sikh place of worship in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand.  This Sikh pilgrimage site is devoted to  the 10th Sikh Guru i.e, Guru Gobind Singh, which is located  at an elevation of 4,632 meters (15,197 feet). The total distance of the trek is 20 kms from Pulna. Meera Joshi  started the trek  from Pulna to Ghangaria base village on 17th August 2022, at 7am and reached the  Hemkund Sahib (World’s Highest Gurudwara) at 7am on 18 August 2022.  She has performed dance at the highest point of Gurudwara and thus created a new record as the First Actress to perform dance at the World’s Highest Gurudwara. She was guided by Tushar Subhedar who helped  throughout the trek and was guided by Anand Bansode, Founder, 360 Explorers, Maharashtra, India. Meera Joshi’s High Range Talent in trekking and also Devotion towards God has made her achieve this feat.
